I'd bet foreign tourists are more freaked out by a paperwork screwup putting them at Alligator Aushwitz than they are about paying more for Park entrance fees. I also would bet this would prove impossible to administer. Just for one implication, you aren't asked for ID when you go to a Park entrance station. The only way they could identify foreign tourists is if they did ask for ID.

I think a lot of regular Americans aren't going to be all right with having to show their papers to visit a National Park.

We are dependent on tourism and it has become more than I myself, am comfortable with at times. Quiet little Valley no more. But we seem to have gotten ourselves into the trench and this is our ecomony now. And out of country visitors may not feel comfortable coming to the US now. It won't be because of the US charging more.

Maybe we shouldn't be quite so "dependant" on tourism? You guys will be so wrong about this like EVERYTHING else you get wrong every time!

Gee, and with all the cuts for services at the Nat'l Parks it's kind of a double slap.
