Well at least they went away when the guy didn't want to speak with them. This just looks to me as a pretty clueless and heavy-handed way to intimidate people. And a sad state of affairs when law enforcement thinks that their job is to intimidate people.

In the current state of affairs, with guys arriving without ID badges and without warrants the act of cutting off your wifi becomes even more legally problematic.

I can tell you how they are doing that (cutting out your Wi-Fi). I can also tell you how to make them work for it. Maybe even make it impossible for them.
The executive summary is that gear provided by your ISP almost always has back doors that LE is aware of.

Thing is, HS admits they were send in error but they've already demonstrated their inability/insincerity when it comes to fixing their mistakes. So the slippery slope has arrived and despite judges ruling daily that HS/ICE/Trump must cease and desist this admin is creating a Constitutional crisis by defying judicial orders.
