thing is, voter fraud in this country is so rare it is inconsequential. Ironically, the cases that are caught are generally fraud by Reps. We have much more to worry about now that CISA is being closed down by Musk. Reps want people to focus on individuals which are never going to make the huge difference that undue influence like Musk used Twitter for, or the robo calls paid to influence by lies, or social media's targeting of Dems telling them they didn't have to vote.

Mail in is still very good here in this county anyway. I have gotten a call or two from the auditor to verify info. The older people and those that are infirm but of sound mind need a way to vote.
Long ago, when I lived in Kansas, they made election day a designated holiday so that people that worked could get to the polls.
Polls in Seattle stayed open late also when I lived there.

Great that gov issued photo ID required at registration, and that they supposedly Ave signature verification at ? Ballot counting? , and some ballots are rejected due to signature not matching, HOWEVER, I'd bet a dollar against a dog biscuit that even your signature Is the same as it was 20/30 years ago and the older you get the more it change and it changes after some health issues I know mine is no where near what it was when I registered to vote in this state in 1987 or even this county in 1991
Yes they send out letters periodically for signature updates, but done by mail not in person

Only problem with this is it does not require a gov issued photo ID
