Trump misstates the circumstances of the New Orleans attack to misdirect people into thinking that the attacker was an immigrant criminal that had crossed the southern border.

As president-elect he is privy to briefings even before they hit the media. When he made his declarations he already knew that the perpetrator was a US citizen, Texas born and raised and an army vet.

But the lie's been told and now he's fed the immigrant story once more to stir up the MAGAs.
