Maybe people want to be controlled and told what to do, because they can't think for themselves. They want it easy, so why not be an automatan.

Emminent domain aside we DO NOT live in Democracy, democracies throughout history have failed and thanks to those that say, and live, mainly progressive liberal dems, as though we do are causing our Constitutional Republic to crash, quoting B Franklin "if you can keep it" looks like we can't.

Hopefully if everyone that says they'll leave the country if Trump gets reelected the outbound flights between 6/11/24 and 10/11/24 will be filled to capacity to the point the airlines will need to add flights. But chances are they will be exactly what they are all talk and no show.

The government can lawfully take your stuff any time they want to using a not particularly fair due process. Although your risk of that happening unless you are poor or having inconvenient skin color are vanishingly unlikely.
