Interesting study. I'm a bit baffled at the commentary/observation that wildfires in the west have burned with low to moderate heat. They note that's only up til 2010. But still, I keep remembering so many firefighters commenting that they'd never seen fires burn so hot - maybe that is what's developed recently, since 2010.
