Johnson has had Congress in recess for over 38 days. No negotiations, no Budget to vote on. He has refused to swear in the AZ Representative. It's so bad that even Marjorie Taylor Greene has decided to call the Rep's out.

So they think they can indeed blame the Dems. That everyone, MAGA mainly, will think it is the Dems. Guess what, MAGA is figuring it out, well some anyway. Ballroom, Victory Arch(yep $100 million there) The Mara Lago display party.
To MAGA kindness equals socialism.

The Republican Majority in the Senate could change that rule any time they like with a simple majority vote. The filibuster is like trying to quit drinking by hiding the whiskey in the woodpile.

If they thought it was a real problem they could have solved it weeks ago and taken the credit for it. Why aren't they doing that?

The majority is not enough to pass the budget takes at least 5 members of the Socialist party to wake up and vote to pass.
R has 55 to 45 majority takes 60 votes, need super majority of 60 votes

How can it possibly be the Democrat's fault?

Republicans hold the White House and have majorities in the Senate and the House. If they wanted to they could put on their big boy pants and man up and reopen the government with or without the Democrats.

You are being deceived.

Shutdown bad and good

Well one can see and say that this shutdown had both bad and good effects. Bad for those that aren't getting paid and yet continue to work. Good in that even the village idiot can see that the current Democrat/Socialist/ Communists party is out to destroy the country from within. One can also see that it is not only on the federal level but here on the State level in WASHINGTON. Keep increasing taxes and still claim to have budget shortfalls.
One can only hope people actually pull their heads out of their rectum and realize voting has consequences, but that would be about as likely as a person winning both the Megamillions and Powerball lotteries in the same week.
Hopefully voters will realize that Absolutely Nothing is Free regardless what the party says, what might appear to be free for some has to be paid for by someone else, (political/ government theft)
