What we do know is that morgues were overflowing and refer semi's had to be brought in. All over the world many people did die of Covid. Indeed some did die of other diseases, but many were the result of Covid. Those that have long Covid will tell you that they are not in the best of health.

It's my understanding that never before have we NOT been able to find the animal species host that a human transfer came from (im sure I'm not using the exact correct terms, so evaluate the point I'm trying to make and not precise definition of words in science) after this much time has passed? Also many other sources and countries seem to point to a 'modified' corona virus that doesn't have a logical or ever before seen progression in nature and disease transmission.

The 'scientists' seem quite wrong over the years too, look at how many times and to what level they've said we are going to burn up, Sea level rise, impossible weather etc. They're wildly wrong and hugely inaccurate in They're predictions! (Almost like it's hugely complicated and phenomenaly intertwined to be accurately predicted)(and 'science' has been corrupted with politics and gov intermingling to be completely trusted on it's face these days!) 'Lies, damn lies and statistics' (especially influenced statistics for a desired outcome)

My information says 90% confidence. "Factcheck" is not a reputable organization W/O political bias. But of course you will never accept any POV different from your own.

Both FBI and CIA reports had 'low level of confidence'.

Because whatever research was done at WIV had nothing to do with COVID-19.

We know that closely related viruses were circulating in rural areas near Wuhan (and also as far away as Laos). The closest relatives found in Yunnan province would be consistent with a spillover event from animals to humans sometime in October or November of 2019.

"Genetic engineering" these days usually involves copying and pasting long chunks genetic material (in this case RNA) from other viruses into a new organism. You aren't tweaking one or two sequences here and there. We don't generally have the tools to do that and we certainly can't predict what would happen when we make tiny changes.

It is hard to see how you'd have a modified virus that was so obviously closely related to ones found in nature near where the research was being conducted. You also need to keep in mind that COVID-19 is probably one of the most intensely studied viral genomes, ever. So if there was a large hunk of RNA from a flu virus in there someone would have noticed.

And the "lab leak" theory doesn't at all account for why all of the identified early cases were either from the wet market or very close to it.

If you are ignorant and want to believe a foolish conspiracy theory that's on you. In this case I suppose you could claim that WIV "seeded" their dangerous virus in the surrounding countryside (and apparently as far away as Laos). Then they deliberately released it in the wet market and suppressed evidence of early disease spread in other parts of Wuhan that might be connected to WIV.

Then you'd have to blackmail or bully thousands of researchers all over the world and get them to sign on to the spillover theory. Maybe you could do that but I doubt you could do it without leaving messy and obvious footprints.

Well, gee, the stats on the prevention of the non engineered Covid 19 demonstrate in real time that the vaccines were effective globally.

Before you get all hot and bothered about this ask your self and follow the FACTS does the vaccine stop the acquisition, or spread of an engineered virus?

Unfortunately, given the data we now have in hand, the effects of Long Covid are real and often severe. They don't just linger, they are now recognized as compromising health ongoing, perhaps even a lifetime. With the new strain that is just now arriving in the states, we're in need of updated vaccines not a scenario where anyone will lose access.

Just for fun….I called my Cousin, who’s husband is one of the most well known Virologists in the US; he has 40 years of experience in (mostly) pediatric respiratory diseases and was key in helping develop the recently released vaccine for RSV - one the biggest killers of babies (and old folks). He’s a Fellow of the AAAS and runs his own lab at a major mid-western University.

I asked him what he thought about RFK’s actions. Once he got done with a barrage of unprintable expletives….he said “this dumb-a$$ is going to kill a BUNCH of innocent people…mostly children”.
