Figured.
Also only rumors about Superbowl ads by Elon exposing the "waste".
To clarify, WHO is worthwhile keeping is what I meant.

If you want to look at waste, look at the impact the USAID closure is having on American farmers, look at the food rotting at US ports that isn't going to be shipped.

It was a stretch... lol...

Reuters...
An official at the State Department, which administers the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), said the Trump administration had stopped a total of $100 million in aid for the humanitarian organization International Medical Corps’ (IMC) programs in Gaza, which included funds for contraception, and noted that condoms have traditionally been used for family planning in developing countries by USAID.

Reports for fiscal years, opens new tab 2007 through 2023 on contraceptives and condoms shipped by USAID to the rest of the world also do not show any record of condoms shipped to Gaza.
A former deputy assistant secretary of defense for the Middle East, Dana Stroul, said in a Jan. 29 X post, opens new tab that USAID did not spend money on Gaza in fiscal year 2023.
An April 2024 report, opens new tab shows that the U.S. delivered a value of $60.8 million in contraceptives and condoms to four regions, including the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
The Middle East received $45,681 while Africa received over $54 million, or 89%, of the commodities in fiscal year 2023 (Page 9).
The report added that the $45,681, referred to as the "small delivery," was made entirely to Jordan, which included oral contraceptives and injectable contraceptives but did not include condoms (Page 21).
The USAID reports, opens new tab also show deliveries to the Middle East in fiscal years 2019, 2013, 2012, 2009, 2008 and 2007, none of which mention any deliveries to Gaza.
Under the Trump administration, USAID delivered $1.1 million to the Middle East in fiscal year 2019, with all commodities going to Yemen, which included male and female condoms as well as multiple types of contraceptives, according to a USAID report, opens new tab (Pages 18-19).

It helps to fact check lists like this. It is wildly inaccurate. First tip off should be the condom charge.

Yes, alot can be cut. I see the WHO on there. It is worthwhile. But if most of this is true, the money to develop a stapler?
Both parties could have been working on this. But isn't alot of it approved by Congress?

DOGE list of some programs being cut

Post by pasayten »

We do need to have more discussion on major programs that are being hit, but look at this list of some others that DOGE has found…
This is a minuscule Elon DOGE list of programs that are being shut down or suspended that left-wing lunatics are defending vigorously. You can't make this stuff up:

10 million a year on empty office building.
3 million to the State Department to censor conservatives.
2 million to fund Health and Human Services for a study on Facebook for children to see how they react to food advertisements.
419,000 to study rats to see if lonely rats are more likely to use cocaine.
4.8 million for Ukraine influencers.
365,000 for the National Endowment of the Arts promoting circuses in national parks.
10 million for Girl Climate Activism In Brazil.
875,000 to fund films in the country of Jordan.
50 million to fund condoms in Gaza.
37 million to the World Health Organization.
16 million in funding for institutional contractors in gender development offices.
345,002 fight terrorism with soccer.
1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia workplace.
70,000 for the production of a DEI musical in Ireland.
288,000 for diversity in bird-watching.
500,000 to Ethiopia To expand its media presence.
7 million for magic-related and magic-believe projects.
3 million in non-emergency funding to provide evaluation services. for planning and learning programs.
2 million for border security in the country of Paraguay.
47,000 for a transgender opera in Columbia.
32,000 for a transgender comic book in Peru.
385,000 for a pigeon statue in NYC.
4 million of funding for the Center for Climate-Positive Development.
12 million in support services to the Bureau for Resilience, Environment, and Food Security.
20 million for fertilizer research abroad.
123,000 to teach viral video Research in the country of Kazakhstan.
1.5 million to spin kittens for science to study motion sickness.
6 million in non-emergency funding for redundant administrative supports for the Center of Excellence.
720,479 for Mexican duck conservation.
20 million for Sesame St in Iraq.
1.7 million For the Federal Bureau of Advanced Staple Engineering to create the ultimate stapler that never jams.
1.5 million The commission of conference room swivel chairs to ensure all chairs swivel at the same rate.
600,000 to fund technical assistance for family planning in Latin America.
1.3 million To the office of highlighter color coordination.
2.4 Million To the research initiative on pencil sharpening efficiency.

But wait it gets better

1.6 million to the strategic paperweight design program.
1.4 million to the national bubble wrap stress relief study.
900,000 to the borough of Mailbox Fernsway. I must admit I have no clue what this is however, we paid for this!
2.3 million To the Federal Balloon Animal Training Academy to learn how to twist balloons into animal figures.
3 million To the office of puddle depth management.
1.5 million to the Bureau of Alarm Clock Testing.

Unauthorized spending programs:

Over 1200 programs are Running on autopilot Amounting to 500 billion a year.

These programs were originally intended to be in effect for a year; an oversite or perhaps intentionally, they have remained unchecked for years, leading to significant financial gain for some individuals.

38 billion annually Foreign Relations Act approval 2003 is still in effect today, but expired in 2004!
48 billion annually 21st Century Cures Act expired 30 years ago.
37 billion annually the Quality Housing Act of 1998, it expired In 1999 and is still operational.
25 billion annually The NASA Authorization Act of 2017 expired in 2018 and is still operational.
7 billion annually The Energy Policy Act Of 2005 Expired in 2006 and is still operational.
9 billion annually the Workforce and Opportunities Act of 2014 expired in 2015 and is still operational.

The above-mentioned should have had congressional approval every year to continue, so this is not just a Democrat problem, this is a government problem, and it's your money.

I assure you this is real. It resembles a money laundering scheme, and attempting something similar would result in imprisonment for you and I.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. From what I understand there are numerous instances like this. The objective is to reduce expenditures by $456 billion per day in order to hit a target of $1 trillion by 2026. Many programs have already been cut, hopefully, more will follow. So buckle-up dems and keep crying only 4 more years to go.
