Re: Today's No Kings
I've heard estimates as low as 20,000. Better estimates were around 100,000.
No matter, even with "less than 200,000" makes him look weak and pathetic.
Reports are coming out that put the No Kings protests at about 11 million people. Which makes them the largest demonstrations in US history.
Re: Today's No Kings
Trump's actual parade where the song they are marching to is Credence Clearwater Revival, I ain't no fortunate son, which, for those who aren't of a certain age is a VietNam protest song...

I wonder how those numbers compare to the 1970 protests after Kent State murders. I was at school at Colo State U and we had a very large impromptu parade, led by the Dean of Students, that snaked thru town for miles, shutting down a US highway for quite a while.
A buddy still lives there in town and he attended about an equal sized parade today…he thought 10,000+. Of course Fort Collins is 5 or 6 times bigger today than then.

Trump's DC parade has attracted less than 200,000

Re: Today's No Kings
That's a large and very impressive number, being the largest mass protests since 2017 and the second-largest (after Earth Day in 1970) in US history.Rideback wrote: Sat Jun 14, 2025 3:49 pm The tallies are rolling in, so far it's 7.2 million showed up today for the No Kings rallies across the country.
I fear it is nowhere near large enough, though.

50,000 in NY, the numbers coming in are staggering and so far next to nothing being reported of violence. The energy is high!
Re: Today's No Kings
Indeed!
I'm hearing 100,000 showed up in LA, 10,000 in Dallas, numbers still rolling in.
And pics of Trump's parade show rows and rows of white empty seats

Over 700 at the event today in Twisp. I’d bet that’s a larger % of the population here….than in L.A.

Fresh reporting has a gigantic rally in the City of Angeles where protesters number close to 100,000 and are peacefully in the streets
