#47 says he won't rule out military force to take Greenland. What do all the MAGA people think? Eh, won't happen.

Snyder hits all the points and then some, Trump's allegations are a farse that barely even gets the wool off the sheep much less pulls it over the eyes of the world. Yes, Musk is interested in harvesting the minerals (btw there are Canadian companies there that are already harvesting some) and yes Putin certainly is cheering Trump's stupidity but Trump & Vance's love of Russia isn't enough to convince any sovereign country to bend a knee.

If we invaded Greenland or Canada, we'd be at war with NATO.

I don't think we'd win that war. Not at least without years of preparation.

Polls here in the states show Vance as the most unpopular VP since polling was first used and Vance is only 2 months into office. This was a remarkable trip in that the reception was an absolute given and only demonstrated how tone deaf Vance and Trump are about their assumption that a sovereign nation would react any differently.

The whole thing has a feel of a Putinesque recreation of the invasion of Ukraine. I see Trump is firing more military leaders, now the question is on the table of if the military would follow an order to attack or not. According to Trump we're all about to find out when the confrontation will occur, he's quite clear that he'll do whatever he has to. https://abcnews.go.com/International/tr ... =120208823

OH GOOD!

I have been JUST worried sick that our very own illiterate fool - the one who NEVER offers any insight, logic, useful comment, link to any other analysis, personal experience, etc….the one who just ALWAYS goes for 5th grade playground insults (lost another tetherball game did ya, kenny?) ….was MIA.

But….he’s still around!
Whew…for a while I thought we might have to draw straws to see who was going to play the village idiot….

Vance comments on Denmark

Incredible!

A sitting US vice president, visiting - apparently UN-INVITED - the self-governing territory (Greenland) of a NATO ally (Denmark), makes remarks about the poor job Denmark has done for Greenland.

What do you suppose the reaction of THIS administration might be if the 2nd in Command - of say, France, Germany or the UK - visited Puerto Rico and made such rude, threatening comments? While the ‘leader’ of those Countries, back on their own soil, was mumbling and rambling on about annexing Puerto Rico?
