I have been playing a handful of MLK speeches on our American Legion radio KFAC-LP 105.5 FM Twisp WA this week. If you are out of the listening range, tune in at www.Legion143.org/radio for our web stream. Monday I will be playing Martin Luther King speeches throughout the day.

To find Trump's plans for the Dept of Education, one look no further than the person he nominated to head the Dept and then the 2025 project.

As usual Dumbo just goes off at the mouth….saying whatever he WISHES to be true.

Department of Education was part of Dept of Health Education and Welfare (HEW) until 1980. HEW was created in 1867, by President Andrew Johnson. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_ ... _Education

So, we have had a CABINET level Department that deals with Education for 158 years of our 249 years.

You really do make this soooo easy, Ken! What’s next? Hunter’s fault, again….I’ll bet!

It is a different world than 200 years ago. Want to go back to that time? They didn't care about special ed needs of children and food programs. Now we do. You say you care so much about the children and unborn. You obviously don't.
It's not hatred to point out that the Dept. of Ed. helps with federal funding. I do believe the government is for the people, by the people and that to me means helping your fellow humans out. Just wait til you want to collect your social security, unless you've worked under the table all your life. You will be glad to have it. Same with Medicare.

Oh the horror, how did we possibly educate for nearly 200 years without federal government rules, regulation's and redistribution of money?!

At least this SecDef hasn’t gone AWOL with a senile clueless POTUS with no idea what’s going on!

You guys beclown yourselves in your hatred and ignorance.

And they want to cut the Dept. of Ed. that has federal funding. Going back to the states. Money the states don't have. Already some red states are realizing their education system is going to be struggling.
