No, the unemployment rate does not include those who have stopped looking for work. Never has. So, the rates today are using the same criteria that they've deployed for decades, meaning that there is the same methodology so you can compare report to report confidently.

But is the low unemployment number because people are working or that the count does Not include those that have quit applying for benefits because their benefits have expired?
That could dramatically skew the numbers

Spending time getting revenge. This will not benefit the American people. No matter who was in office or who would have been, it would have been a "mess". It could not have been orderly, really.

And one more thing, I agree the government administrative state is "bloated" but when they fire all the civil servants, (2 million) what jobs will be available to them? I would guess the private sector, somewhere. Might need some field workers.
