"Secretary of Retribution" and an enemies list

In 2006 a whack job right-wing blogger in the Tri-Cities composed an "enemies list" of top democratic donors in Eastern Washington. He encouraged his readers to "go after" these "enemies". This blog post was accompanied with images of people being shot by firing squads and being lynched.

My name was on that list. It wasn't fun or exciting or interesting to find myself in that position.

This shows (to me, at least) that this cancer has been in the Republican Party DNA for a long time. And that the idea that "both sides" engage in violent rhetoric is steaming bull$h1t. There is a big difference between "viewing with alarm" and actually menacing and threatening specific people. Most reasonable adults can see that.

According to the site, the target list Raiklin has circulated since January includes “Democratic and Republican elected officials; FBI and intelligence officials; members of the House January 6 committee; US Capitol police officers and civilian employees; witnesses in Trump’s two impeachment trials and the January 6 hearings; and journalists from publications ranging from CNN and the Washington Post to Reuters and Raw Story”.

Raiklin has described his plans in “in podcast interviews, multiple posts on X, a press conference and conversations with prominent far-right extremists”, Raw Story said, adding that Raiklin acknowledged but did not answer the news outlet’s questions.

I really want to see the list of 350 people they want to arrest. Honestly I am surprised it is not yet out in public.
